In Hungary, there are more people buying online while the value rate also increases. These are key results of a new research conducted by "Enet Internet Research", which is based on response data from local online stores and the results were presented during the “E-commerce Hungary Conference”At the beginning of June.
In 2015, the e-commerce industry in Hungary It had a value of 319 million Hungarian fornits, which corresponds to the amount of 1.03 billion Euros. So last year the online retail industry it was up 34 percent. But not only the size of the market has increased, but also the average value that is spent. Last year online consumers in the same country spent an average amount of 42 euros for each purchase made online, which increased by an amount 5.5 euros more than in 2015.
The number of online shoppers from Hungary It surpassed 4 million in 2015, but this number increased by about 600,000 last year, so now there are just over 4.6 million online consumers in the same country. This means that 82 percent of adult users in the country now purchase products online at least once a year. And now there are 2.2 million online buyers who order from foreign stores, that is 700,000 more people than those who had consumed in 2015, and the number continues to increase in every way for this country.
